Lauren has been at Flagstaff Counseling Center since 2014.  She is a licensed Psychologist who provides therapy to teenage and adult individuals. She received her doctoral degree from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in Minneapolis, MN. Lauren’s clinical work includes community mental health, high school, and college counseling centers in Minnesota, Kansas, and Arizona. She is a generalist practitioner who uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet the specific needs of each individual client and their individual concerns.

 

​Some areas of interest and expertise include depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, women’s issues, domestic violence, sexual violence, grief and loss. Clients are encouraged to recognize their individual strengths, resources, and capabilities by creating insight and compassion through life’s many transitions and changes. She strongly believes in joining her clients in their journey by being authentic, creative, and addresses multiple areas in clients’ lives by utilizing a holistic approach.
